Chris&Tibor's latest collaboration is a step away from previous joint projects with international designers as they collaborate with leading British contemporary artist Stuart Semple. The collection is the first ever collaboration for the womens market. In recent years, art and fashion have become increasingly linked and Chris&Tibor are the latest designers to bridge this gap.

Stuart Semple is a British painter whose work can be found in major international art collections including Getty, Niarchos and the David Roberts Foundation. He counts Debbie Harry, Sienna Miller, Jean Charles de Castelbajac and Lady Gaga among his followers. Aside from his internationally successful solo shows, Semple has collaborated on a number of artistic projects with Umbro, Moncler, The Prodigy, Selfridges, Levis and many others. In 2009, he held an artistic performance, "HappyCloud", at Tate Modern, where he sent eco-friendly smiley pink clouds towards the recession bitten city.

This exclusive collection of bags, scarves and jewellery are set to be must-have items. All products are manufactured in Spain using premium quality soft Italian leather. The colour scheme, text and prints are in Stuart Semple's distinctive style, tying the collection together is the slogan 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', which is taken from the song by British post punk band, Joy Division.

"I didn't approach this collaboration any differently than I would approach making any other piece of my art. The process and emotion was almost identical. Together I think we found a way to make my art truly accessible and I think that is really exciting" - Stuart Semple

"Having previously collaborated with many international fashion designers, working with Stuart has been the first time with a contemporary British artist. We've long wanted to branch out and work with people outside of the fashion world and as both a close friend and an artist whose work we admire, creating a collaboration with Stuart was a natural progression. Being based in East London as well he maintains this influence which is so important to the Chris&Tibor brand." - Chris&Tibor
